We loved our evening of candle light and Scrabble after a busy day.
Enjoying soft lighting from candles and kiddos laughter as we snuggled in a circle on our living room floor for this event. It became more of an opportunity for family closeness than a 'living green' event.
We are thinking of incorporating this into a monthly occasion.

Sounds like an amazing evening, well done for observing earth hour. We had some regular power failures a while back, and it's actually quite amazing how having no electricity brings people closer - no distractions, you end up having quality time to spend together.
