I am scurrying about fixing and creating things today to make our home extra specially welcoming for my parents who will be arriving today from Alberta, Canada.
In all the domestic rush,
I was gathering our presents into our closet and readying them to be gift wrapped
and thought perhaps I needed some inspiration in the packaging up of these parcels.

these wrapping jobs are amazing. i'm such a horrible wrapper, i'm ashamed. i just can't get the folds in tight so it ends up being a loose and wrinkly job. haha.

Lovely presents! I never put much time into wrapping presents, but after seeing these, I'm thinking that maybe part of the joy of receiving a present is in the beautiful wrapping job. A lot of love can go into that :)
