a little bit of local loving on takara in monroe nc....

Who would think that in a little city in North Carolina you could step into another world as you enter the doors to a lovely Japanese hibachi restaurant called, Takara?!
The aroma as you enter is so intoxicating and the people there are wonderful.  I really loved the romantic, modern Japanese ambiance along with food that is absolutely delicious and enticingly prepared with fire in front of you.
We enjoyed the company of another family (pictured above) who shared a table with us for their daughter's 11th birthday. She was just adorable as was the entire family.
I love the ability of places like this, to create community with people you have never met before.
So awesome!
If you live in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, this is definitely a place you will want to visit.
Takara
There are so many small local businesses that go unnoticed and disappear.
I hope this one gets noticed and is a keeper.
If you are local...
spread the word.

Hope your week has been lovely so far, friends!
Happy Thursday!
